WHAT WE DO
As we begin our 4th year of producing HITN’s film initiative – Tú Cuentas Cine Youth Film Festival, we continue to:

Provide young Latino filmmakers with a platform where their voices, stories, and visions can be shared;

Showcase films and level the playing field of the film industry;
-
Beat the traditional odds; last year, 60% of the films submitted to our festival were directed by Latinas.
In addition, we were honored
with the prestigious
Silver Telly Award for our
2023 Film Chat web series.

HITN presents “Cortitos” a unique film contest that offers middle school Latinos/as an opportunity to showcase their work on HITN, the nation’s largest non-commercial Hispanic cable TV station.
